On July 11th2024 members of the GDAFS team and their service users participated in Barod’s annual Recovery Walk up Pen-Y-Fan.
Everyone who participated made it up to the top of the mountain (dogs included!). Whilst on the walk it was great to connect with so many people from different organisations; there was plenty of inspirational stories, encouragement, and determination – all in the spirit of recovery! After the walk, we all enjoyed a well-earned lunch at the bottom of the mountain before heading home.
It is always a great turnout and a lovely atmosphere to be a part of. We’re already looking forward to 2025!
